BOB FITZGERALD'S MYSTERY PHOTO


1155th EDP Section Softball Team - Circa 1975 ?

I thought my photo was of the 1968 or 1969 Det 202 Softball Team. They say the memory is the 2nd thing to go, you know, and I don't remember what the first thing is. My old friend, Bob Post, who I had lost contact with but who found me via the Florida Chapter (thanks John & Chris), sent me an email with the info on where and what my photo was taken of and of the names of most of the folks in it. THANKS, BOB!

Then I recently (Mar 21, 2005) received an email from Layton (Lee) Webb who identified himself as #12 in my photo. Lee says #8 was NOT Ron Kline, that #10 might be Capt Roger Krautkremer (then a 1st Lt); a #13 is Capt Donald Hemmick. THANK YOU LEE!

FLASH! Just received (Mar 24, 2005) an update from Don Hemmick who ID'd my #10 in the photo as "Capt. Ron Wirtanen", which I immediately recognized as the right name for this one. THANK YOU DON!
